Privacy notice
How the personal data you share with the practice through this website, email, telephone and WhatsApp is processed under Turkish data protection law (KVKK), and your rights.

This notice explains which personal data this website collects, for what purpose and on which legal ground, and what your rights are. It follows Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data (“KVKK”) and the Communiqué on the Procedures and Principles for Fulfilling the Obligation to Inform. The Turkish text is the primary version; this is its translation.
Data controller

This website has no contact form, no web analytics tool (such as Google Analytics) and no embedded third-party content (map, video, social media); it sets no cookies. We do not make automated decisions or build profiles. We do not use your data for marketing, and making an appointment never depends on it.
The “Send us a message” box on the contact page, the date planners on some pages and the site search run only in your browser: they send and store nothing you type. When you send the message the box prepares from your own WhatsApp or email, the first row above applies.
Who receives your data, and why
- Netlify, Inc. (512 2nd Street, Suite 200, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA): hosting of this website. The data is limited to the server logs created when you view the site (IP address, time, page requested, browser type).
- WhatsApp LLC / Meta (USA, Ireland): your contact details and messages, if you choose to write to us on WhatsApp. We use WhatsApp only for appointments and short questions.
- Our email provider (Natro, Türkiye): the mailbox that holds the emails you send to info@drcenkteker.com. The mailbox is hosted in Türkiye.
- Competent public authorities: within our legal obligations.
Transfers abroad: The servers of Netlify and of WhatsApp LLC / Meta are outside Türkiye, so the server logs created when you view the site and the personal data you send on WhatsApp are transferred abroad (KVKK Art. 9). No adequacy decision covers these transfers and no standard contract has been notified to the Personal Data Protection Authority under KVKK Art. 9; the practice keeps them as a risk it has accepted, because the site cannot be hosted, nor WhatsApp offered, without them. These transfers do not rely on your explicit consent. No health data is collected through this website; please do not send photographs or health information on WhatsApp.
Links to Google Maps, YouTube, Instagram and other social media open those sites only when you click them; their own privacy policies apply there.
How long we keep data
- Enquiries that do not become an appointment: 12 months, including the email copies in our mailbox.
- Patient records: for the periods set by health legislation, at the practice.
- Server logs: 30 days.
Your rights under KVKK Art. 11
You may: learn whether your personal data is processed; request information if it is; learn the purpose of processing and whether data is used accordingly; know the third parties in Türkiye or abroad to whom it is transferred; have incomplete or inaccurate data corrected; have data erased or destroyed under KVKK Art. 7; have correction and erasure notified to the third parties who received the data; object to a result against you arising from analysis solely by automated systems; and claim compensation for damage caused by unlawful processing.
You can send your request in writing to info@drcenkteker.com or to Zuhuratbaba Mah. İncirli Cad. Gülderen Sk. 2. Yıldız Sitesi No:1/8 Kat:3 Daire:8, 34147 Bakırköy/İstanbul, in line with the Communiqué on the Procedures and Principles of Application to the Data Controller. Requests are answered within 30 days at the latest. If you object to the outcome, you may complain to the Personal Data Protection Board.
